Job description: Developing the curriculum and caring for children aged 3+. Working with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the Naíonra. To ensure the welfare of the children in your care. You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike.

Requirements:

• Forbairt Naíonra Teoranta’s Dianchúrsa for Naíonra Director’s Accreditation
• Good knowledge of the Irish language and of the Total-Early Immersion model essential
• Working with themed weeks, achieving annual programmes on time, organising outings
• To be self motivated and ability to motivate others
• Good organisational skills
• Computer skills an advantage
• To be flexible and a team player
• Initiative and ability to cope under pressure
• Professional manner at all times
• Competent in Arts & Crafts

Stiúrthóir - Dublin West

Applications being sought for the position of Stiúrthóir (Manager) at Naíonra Chrónáin, C/o Muintir Chrónáin, Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

Full-time sessional service (8.30am to 11.30am & 12pm to 3pm).

Requirements

• A minimum FETAC Level 5 Advanced Certificate in Childcare or Equivalent
• Fluency in communicating (both written and verbal) in the Irish Language and of the Total-Early Immersion model is essential
• A thorough working knowledge and understanding of childcare practice and policy
• Previous track record in supervising a staff team
• Ability to complete funding agency returns (ECCE)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to good team-work
• Ability to develop and sustain high quality practice within centre

Stiúrthóir and Stiúrthóir Cúnta - Kerry

Naíonra Faithleann will open in September 2012 at Gaelscoil Faithleann, Killarney. Applications will be accepted for the positions of Stiúrthóir and Stiúrthóir Cúnta up to and including February 24th 2012.

The stiúrthoirí will be employed by the Board of Management for the first year and the Naíonra may become independent in the school from September .

Requirements

• Fluent Irish (written and spoken)
• Dianchúrsa FNT (FNT intensive course) (completed, or willing to complete the course shortly)
• FETAC level 5 or a higher grade
• First Aid training
• Knowledgeable of early childcare and HSE regulations
• Practical experience in early childcare
